Trail Volunteers are a key component in any public trails development and upkeep program. Volunteers will often be the first to identify physical trail issues and needs.
Working in collaboration with land managers, staff and trail volunteers, Penn Trails two main objectives in all of our education and training programs are:
Constituent groups that Penn Trails conducts public education and field training services for include;
Trail clubs who utilize the area trails;
Area volunteers with a vested interest in the quality of the associated park/forest lands;
Local conservation organizations;
Home and land owners adjacent to the park/forest lands;
-
Community service workers.
